Originally released in 1922 as Nosferatu, Eine Symphonie Des Grauens, director FW Murnau’s chilling and eerie adaption of Stoker’s Dracula is a silent masterpiece of terror which to this day is the most striking and frightening portrayal of the legend. Nosferatu is in the public domain, and can be downloaded here for free: www.archive.org

  • That scared the fucking shit out of me!!
    Special film, that because it may be a silent film with just movement and music but it increases the terror and suspense like more than ever! Even tenser and scarier than many of the horror films we see today.
    The Godfather of vampire films, I say!!

  • Count Orlok is without a doubt the most creepiest vampire I’ve ever seen. Man I love these old silent films, although occasionally my mind tends to get sidetracked while I’m watching them.
