I’m sorry I clicked on this one. It’s horrible! It’s like those comedians who can’t get a laugh, so they use cuss words to try and make up for it. This movie isn’t worth watching.

It’s funny how the attention span for the average person is 7-10 seconds. This reflects the editing of TV programs, changing angles, etc. Now the top youtube people are accelerated versions of this (illuminati babies)? If somethings not flashing or jumping around the screen in front of us, we loose interest. Take 1 day out of your life and watch your mind in 3rd person, and everything that happens around you. We have very little willpower.

@palmostositive : I dont think such a destinction is really necessary. I think you must’ve misunderstood me. I’m don’t think we should divide the population in two, and give the smarter half the most goods. I think smart people and slow people have the same basic needs – and one might even argue that smarter people might have fewer materialistic ambitions.
So, noone decides who is what – because such a distinction helps noone. Everyone’s welcome to participate in the debate and development.

About schools: It turns out environment plays a big role in the development of intellect – so depriving already ‘stupid’ kids from the possibility of having intelligent classmates around might somewhat improve the max IQ, but it would also lower the min IQ – and i think that would create more problems that it’d solve, since stupid people tend to make trouble. Also, smart kids have important lessons to learn from their stupid peers.

@imaxinsertnounherex : i dont understand the dichotomy you’re constructing. Do you think humanity and peace is conflicting? If so, i disagree. I believe mankind, though being good at war, expresses itself to the fullest through peaceful activities such as sports, science, art and philosophy. My ultimate goal is simply to ensure that meaningless squabbles about land, food and money are to be overcome – so that our focus can turn to more interesting and creative matters.
For this, a RBE might work

@imaxinsertnounherex : A more respectable (imo) view, is to educate people carefully about genes, and attempt to change the ideals from the present commercial ideals (stupid, sexy, rich) to more refined ideals: (e.g. healthy, intelligent and.. well.. sexy).
I dont think it makes sense to sterilize people with ‘bad’ genes. It should be up to us all, collectively, to decide which individuals we believe are fit for reproduction (much like the birds with the brigtest plumes – except other criteria)

I understand your reasoning completely, but i disagree with your conclusion.
I think one of the great things about life is that i get to choose what women i want to splice genes with (so to speak). Thus, people with good genes ensure the refinement of the human species through careful choice of mate. So… i think your view needs modifications.

i also think that we should restrengthin the human world through a system of allowed and selective breeding. not allowing anyone with (severe at first) genetic disorders or stds,and such to breed, andencourae it between people with disireable traits. or we could just kill all the retarded babies. just had to throw that in there for a laugh on my part… ahhh im sick.

its all because of a book… the giver… and the fact that i am a selfish douchbag that cares for absolutly nothing outside himself. i digress.
the giver gave me the realization that some people want to live in a recource based community where people are not realy human, because they are not allowed to act upon their human instincts. i dont beleive in humanity loosing itself for the sake of mere peace.

i care not for drugs and what people do with them, its more the things like survival of those i dont veiw as worthy (not by race if thats what your thinking), and the education of those how dont wish to learn kind of things (to name a few).
